Credits & Refund Policy — ShimmerPic

Credit purchases, unused-credit refunds and generation failures.

Credit purchases

Credit packs are one-time purchases charged in USD through Stripe. Credits do not expire. If checkout is explicitly marked as a sandbox or test, no real money is collected and those test credits have no cash value.

Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly. Annual subscriptions are charged once per year and release the advertised credits monthly throughout the paid year. Each monthly credit grant expires 90 days after its scheduled issue date. We spend the soonest-expiring credits first. Credit packs remain non-expiring.

You can cancel automatic renewal from Pricing. Cancellation does not undo a payment or immediately end the paid period. Your paid benefits continue through that period, including the remaining monthly grants of a paid annual plan. Already-issued credits retain their original expiry dates. To change plans, contact support; changes and prorations are not automatic.

Subscription refunds

For your first subscription payment, you may request a full refund within 14 days if none of the subscription credits have been used. Renewals, requests after 14 days, and cases where subscription credits have been used are reviewed individually. Cancelling automatic renewal alone does not issue a refund. If a subscription payment is refunded, the associated unused credits and future grants are withdrawn. Contact contact@shimmerpic.com with your purchase reference. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

Credit-pack cash refunds

You may request a refund for the unused portion of purchased credits within 14 days of purchase. Used credits are normally non-refundable. Submit your purchase reference through support or email contact@shimmerpic.com. We review the purchase and credit history, confirm the eligible amount, remove the refunded credits, and return approved refunds to the original payment method. Bank processing times vary. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

Failed generations

When the provider confirms that a generation failed, the credits reserved for that task are returned automatically to their original credit buckets and expiry dates. If the provider accepted the request but the final status is uncertain, the task remains under review. An image that cannot be delivered within one hour is marked failed and its reserved credits are returned. Contact support with the task ID if it does not resolve.

Content safety checks

Uploads and generation requests rejected before submission do not consume generation credits. If a generated result is blocked, or the safety service fails before we can deliver it, the reserved generation credits are returned automatically. These checks may add processing time.

Completed results

Credits pay for image generation rather than a guaranteed artistic result. A completed image normally consumes the displayed credits. If a result is missing, inaccessible or otherwise technically defective, submit the task ID through support so we can investigate.

Nothing on this page limits mandatory consumer rights.
